Happy Birthday, Melissa! And just like that, you’re 15 years old and a rising Sophomore in high school! Since we didn’t get to do birthday photos for the last 2 years, it’s pretty incredible how much you’ve grown up.
All in Portraits
A mysterious illness, an allergic reaction to some medication, and a wedding. Sounds stressful, right?! Praise God, answers and a new medication came just in time to save the day so that they could get married! You never would’ve known their lives have been crazy because the joy and peace of the entire day was so strong.
Mary Kathryn describes Andrew as trustworthy, thoughtful, organized, and adventurous.
Andrew describes Mary Kathryn as charming, thoughtful, courageous, and determined.
I just love how they both described each other with the word “thoughtful.” Their marriage will be off to a strong start if they continue to think of the other person first and put their needs and desires above their own, as Jesus has done for us.
The way Mary Kathryn looks at Andrew, their joy together, and the way he makes her laugh has been a joy to witness, and we are thrilled to be a part of documenting their love story.
A beautiful, colorful, and quiet church garden is where Josh and Tori tied the knot with a few family members present. They were joyful and so ready to be husband and wife!
We enjoyed getting to know you both and are grateful we had a part in telling your love story.
Happy 17th Birthday, Marianna! We look forward to your birthday shoot every year and seeing what theme you choose! And this year definitely didn’t disappoint!
You are officially smarter than me in many ways…starting with technology. You are now my go-to person when I have questions! I have LOVED watching you develop your own passions and hobbies, especially since it’s so different than my own!
WHAT A BEAUTIFUL WEDDING AND COUPLE! What was supposed to be a gorgeous May 2nd wedding at a botanical garden surrounded by all of their family and friends turned into a very last minute intimate 10 person wedding ceremony. We were 2 of the 10.
Tender, emotional, happy, classy, and fun - these would be words that I’d use to describe Daniel and Monica’s wedding day! Their first look was so sweet, and their last dance before their sparkler exit were two favorite moments from the day.
ALSO. IT SNOWED DURING THEIR PORTRAITS!
It was magical, but also extremely cold! Everyone was such troopers!
Thank you for trusting us to capture your wedding day - all the best to you both!
My sister is a married woman! Their wedding was absolutely beautiful, God-honoring, and fun! Andrew and Bethany live in Utah, so we’ll definitely miss them here in Charlotte!
Andrew and Bethany are perfect for each other - they are completely themselves together and have spent the last several years traveling with a musical evangelistic team all over the USA. They know each other pretty well by this point, and we all couldn’t be happier for them. :)
Will and Lauren are expecting their first baby very soon, and we LOVED getting to spend some time with them, just catching up and taking some maternity photos! Their dog, Izzie, even made it in some pictures at the end!
We shot their engagement session and wedding back in 2016, only a few months after we were married. It’s so special to continue documenting life events for our couples!
Engagement sessions may be a favorite of ours! Monica was a bridesmaid for a wedding we shot almost two years ago, and it was a pleasure to see her and Daniel again - but this time, they’re getting married! Thank you for trusting us to document your wedding day! We loved getting to know you both better during the engagement shoot!
Happy Sweet 16, Marianna! This summer was so HOT and BUSY, so we’re a few months late…but extended birthdays are always the best, right?!
Birthday photoshoots have been a tradition for many years, and it’s been a treat to watch her grow up! Every year, the photoshoot is personalized. This year, she chose an uptown Charlotte location with a view of the skyline. We LOVED shooting in Charlotte and had such a great time together!
The post you’ve all been waiting for!!! Andrew and Bethany’s PROPOSAL and ENGAGEMENT photos!
We made the trip to Utah to surprise my (Jennifer’s) sister, Bethany, and to take some photos of them! We’ve been a part of all of my siblings proposals, and we didn’t want to miss this one!
The surprise was a huge success, and we’re so glad that we could be there.
Elegant, timeless, romantic: these are the words that come to mind when describing Matthew and Kirsten’s Asheville wedding at Homewood! This venue looks like a castle from the outside!
There was rain on and off the entire day, but God was so good to clear up the weather so most of the portraits could be taken outside. We were so grateful! When we ran outside for photos, Kristen was such a pro and basically a model. She NAILED IT and was so comfortable in from of the camera! She and Matthew made our job so easy!
My jaw was on the floor editing these photos. No joke.
Can you believe this was our very first mountain photo shoot?! And dare I say, WE LOVED IT.
God was SO GOOD to provide perfect weather with beautiful light! Craggy Pinnacle is a very short hike with gorgeous views - exactly what we were hoping for!
This wedding. Wow wow wow. Gorgeous and FUN. This wedding at Trump National Golf Club is definitely one for the books! Love the rich berry colors, classy suits, and amazing couple! And the sunset? Absolutely incredible. Get ready to scroll!
Jenny is hilarious, out-going, energetic, decisive, and FUN.
Steven is thoughtful, easy-going, sociable, kind, and FUN.
Jon shot solo on this wedding since I was playing music at another wedding. I was so bummed to miss it, but I feel like I was able to relive it as I went through the images! As you look through the photos in this post, you’ll see what I mean!
