Courvillage Honeymoon - Part 5 // Sedona Relaxtion
What did we do on Saturday? Thank goodness for photos, or else we might've forgotten!
We ate lunch at Creekside, which is located in the heart of Sedona, Arizona. Our resort gave us vouchers, and we were so excited to enjoy a nice meal together! Jon ordered a rueben [his favorite!] and I ordered pasta with chicken. We enjoyed sitting outside on the patio since it was a beautiful day. While we waiting for food, I iced and elevated my ankle...
There were two couples sitting behind us, and as we listened to bits and pieces of their conversations, we could tell they were Christians. It was fun to meet them all and to give them our extra food vouchers that we couldn't use since we were leaving in the morning. Turns out, they live not to far from Charlotte!
After lunch, we walked back to the car [I hobbled] since we parked a block away. The shops in that area are so cute, but we weren't feeling up to browsing. Instead, we drove around to find good views that weren't too packed with people. The locations we had in mind had an overflowing parking lot. On to the next location!
We ended up just pulling off on the side of the road [there are random pull-offs close to pretty sights] and hiked down to the water. Next up. HAMMOCK. And a NAP. And Gatorade...and Oreos...
In true Courville fashion, we took photos after our naps!
On the way back to our resort, we got stuck in the every day, horrific, Sedona traffic. There's one way in, and one way out. We enjoyed about 1.5 hours in car. :)
