Charlotte Photography Workshop // Recap!
The second photography workshop is complete! With two in attendance [meet Alina and Renee], it gave us more time to spend with them individually and to directly address their questions and to strengthen their weaknesses. We covered an abundance of material, learned a lot, and stretched ourselves to become better at the art of photography - not to mention making new friends!
We had absolutely perfect weather, so we enjoyed practicing outside. Here is a list of what we covered [hint, hint: if you didn't get to attend this workshop, this outline will give you an idea of some things we'll cover in the next one! Fall dates to be announced...]
- Mastering basic DSLR controls - Aperture, Shutter Speed, ISO, Exposure, Framing, Focus
- Posing - Couples, Ladies, Men, Children, Babies, Weddings
- Composition
- Light - Natural light and reflectors
- Processing - VSCO, Lightroom
- **Lunch and Portraits by Jon and Jennifer were provided**
Just look at these detail shots, all taken by Renee, Alina, and Jennifer! When you understand what DoF (Depth of Field) means, and how to adjust the settings on your camera, then it becomes fun with all the possibilities that you can create and capture!
We even had Renee and Alina practice posing us, posing themselves, and then posing each other. It was a very hands on workshop, and we loved every moment of it! Some of these photos are taken by Alina and Renee as well. Enjoy!
